Parish Wildlife A parish-based recording scheme currently focussing on the parishes in North Cornwall based around Launceston

How many rich hedgerows like this can still be seen? How rich is the wildlife in the Launceston area?

How much is it under threat?

This website is a start in answering some of these questions for 18 local parishes in North Cornwall, focused on Launceston - an area of about 150 sq miles. It plans to bring together information that is relevant to wildlife and habitat.

Parish Wildlife is currently being supported by heritage Lottery Grant to develop the approach for replication.

A major part of this work is the development of a new website.  Both sites are currently available.
